Tucked inside the drawer of an Antique dresser at my favorite French Antique shop was a wonderful piece of parchment dating back to 1608. Once in my hand, I had visions of French Script fabric. The parchment is amazing and covered in amazing French Script. Handmade with the stitches swirled into this remarkable Antique parchment, circa 1608. Using this find I created this fabric design.

Once upon a time, Anita who is a lovely friend of mine with such a French flair, asked me to design something special for her. She lives in a cottage that truly looks like a castle. She asked me to take my French Script design and add a few birds, which I took from an Antique children's book. I added a little crown on one of the birds, because I knew how much Anita loves crowns. They both lived happily ever after in her sweet castle.
