including embroidered silks and embroidered velvets, dyed laces, upcycled lace fabrics, dyed scrim, threads, mop buttons, plant and flower images printed onto canvas all collaged on the top
of upholstery fabrics which have been sewn to recycled boutique shopping bags.
The journal is based on a theme of heritage plants, vegetables and flowers.
There are 12 heavily collaged and layered pages which measure 8" x 10" with extensions of
fabrics and laces. There are a number of pages which have been made from dyed handmade paper which have been embellished and machine stitched ready for your own journalling notes.
Each page has a strip of upcycled webbing hessian attached and all pages have been assembled
with eyelets through which a piece of copper wire has been threaded and then wrapped around a rusted recycled metal drawer handle.
This piece of artwork is truly unique, would not be found anywhere else and it would make a beautiful keepsake and has a very "old" feel about it!
