This is a complete set with 26 piece of antique embroidered monograms from our antique and rare St. Gallen embroidery stock (made about 1890 - 1950).
The material is cotton (not polyester) and the color is white. Considering the age, the item is in a very good condition (see scans). Please consider that during the years the cotton could be yellowed.
The size: smallest 18mm (0.71 inch), biggest 45mm (1.77 inch)
In ancient times the monogram embroidery were used to mark the own clothes with the appropriate initiales, but also to decorate napkins, handkerchiefs, linen etc.. but you may use it also in picture frame, birthday cards, keyholder, spectacle case, boxes, jewelry etc.
