The mountain tea is digestive, heating, toning and has detoxifying properties. Recommended against colds, diseases of the respiratory and urinary systems. Its healing properties even help to combat diseases of capillaries and heart, thanks to substances called flavonoids that it contains. Sideritis also significantly protects against osteoporosis.
Finally, infusion with lemon and honey is antiseptic and soothes the throat.
The standard way to make an infusion, unless otherwise specified, is to pour a cup of boiling water over 1 teaspoon of mountain tea, let it stand for 10 minutes, strain it, and drink it.
I harvest greek herbs personally so I can guarantee you that are wild grown without any human intervention. This tea is collected at Olympus mountain.
If stored properly, can be consumed within 2 years. Please store it away from light and humidity, in a dark colored glass jar with lid.
Tea comes in a small eco friendly paper bag and is enough to make 40 to 50 cups of tea depending on how strong you make it.
