To me much of the timeless beauty of a quality fixture has to do with the look, feel and quality of the wire used in its design. Back in the early 1900’s Silk and cotton were commonly used to braid wire. The wire I use is a reproduction of this beautiful period wiring made right here in the USA.
** About this particular shade… This is a vintage mason jar in wonderful blue green hue with and worn texture. This fixture has a vintage mason jar shade and some wear and tear should be expected.
