Travelling far and wide in his Skywhale, he goes to great lengths to gather his beloved blooming and blossoming specimens. Upon his return home, he likes nothing more than a tall gin and tonic. The Skywhale, by contrast, only drinks milk; gallon upon gallon upon milky gallon.

This is the collection of crochet patterns for making ALL elements of Skywhale; the whale itself along with the basket and the captain. This will be sent via download from Etsy as a .pdf file.

The whale is 10" long. The captain is 5.5" tall. Altogether, the piece as presented in the images measures at a foot long from the top of the whale to the bottom of the basket.

I love this pattern! I used twine for the basket and ropes, and decorated it with tassels. Well-written and easy to follow. There weren't really instructions on how to hang it but I figured it without too much trouble.
