A tribute to the little winged alchemist, the honey bee. This fragrance is emblematic of the warm, sweet, musky bee hive. As a holistic bee keeper I've come to love this particular aroma and thought it would be the perfect theme for a perfume devoted to the bee. Since not everyone is a lover of this most distinct "hive smell" I used the theme as a launch point for the perfume.

I hand make pure, organic, botanical perfume exclusively with vital plant material, true "nature" perfume. This listing is for a sample set of the solid and liquid perfume versions of To Bee. The liquid perfume is in a base of organic grain alcohol from a local supplier, the glass vials contains .25 grams of pure perfume extract. 1 gram is equal to .036 ounces. The solid is in a base of local beeswax, sometimes from my hives with jojoba seed oil. The solid perfume sample is contained in a pink pot with the iconic honey bee wax seal. The size of the pot is 1 inch wide x 3/4 inch high. There is at least .5 grams of solid perfume, by weight, in the container sometimes more. Both the vial and pot are enclosed in a pink box with two wax sealed enclosures tied with a ribbon. This makes a very pretty sample set for ones self or to give as a gift. The synergy for the perfume is made with essential oils, c02 extracts and absolutes (Resins, Wood, Spice, Mimosa, Sweet Clover Absolute and Beeswax Absolute) with many of my own unique accords in a base of tinctured and infused honey comb from local bee rescues here in Los Angeles. This is the perfect gift for those allergic to traditional perfume

The name "To Bee" is a reference to who the perfume was made in reverence to as well as the Shakespeare quote from Hamlet ""To be of not to be, that is the question?" After all, if we continue to destroy our natural environment true botanical perfume will no longer be possible, the honey bee will become extinct and life as we know it will cease to exist.
