INCREDIBLY LOVELY
Could be a wedding skirt......beautiful for a bride
vintage wool skirt- from late 1800s.
Embroidered with pink silk- flowers- lace at bottom. I have a silk ribbon pinned for the waistband- will fit XS- XL. I WILL SEW RIBBON ON when I get your waist size
Waist size can go to ~ 42. So I can sew silk ribbon on the way you want.
Incredible- tucks, embroidery...ecru, pinks, creams. Shown with a pink cami, but I can do a cream blouse/cami for you..convo.
Historical note~This was probably the bottom of a Petticoat but the top was silk and it was taken off at some time. It is such a beautiful example of handwork from the Victorian era ...so much time went into this garment. It is a very soft cream colored wool and it is in as near perfect as I have seen with wool. I looked it over well and it is very good not even staining or moth holes that are so common. It is approximately 24 " bottom of lace to the top.
The embroidery thread is probably silk....hand embroidered...a heirloom....
