Circa: Map does not have a copyright date although we would estimate this map was printed in the late 80's / very early 90's. Germany, West Germany, and the USSR are still represented on this map.
Other Features: On the upper portion of the chart there are four very cool smaller maps detailing the following: (From Upper left to right) North Pole, Population, Annual Rainfall, South Pole. Additionally, in the lower left hand corner of the chart there is a map of the World's energy resources which focuses on amounts of petroleum, natural gas, uranium, & coal around the globe.
Item Condition: Wonderful condition considering its age! Has some minor wear due to years of use (i.e. a few minor wrinkles, creases, etc). Colors are still wonderfully bold and vivid! Map is lightly soiled here and there above the wooden rod. Since this is a markable map there's a very good chance this can be removed with some warm soap and water. Also, a few inches above the lower wooden rod the map has a light line of discoloration which is typical on pull down maps like this. It's not too bad we promise!. Wooohooo!!
