I enjoyed creating this garden art by using recycled and repurposed glass to make a flower suncatcher.
This glass flower suncatcher has been created using five different pieces of re-purposed glass:
~ First I have used a deeply pigmented carnival glass dish
~On top of this I have placed an intricate pressed glass "petaled" serving bowl.
~ Nestled inside of bowl is a gorgeous marigold carnival glass bowl.
~ In the very center I have placed a smaller clear glass bowl with round petals.
~For an added touch of whimsy a tiny cordial glass is in the "eye"of the flower!
I call this composition "Sheba" and it is a one of a kind piece of outdoor art.
My glass garden art is weather resistant and bonded together with a strong adhesive for durability.
It is resilient to rain, wind and sun, but just to be safe it should be stored during extremes of heat and cold.
You can display this flower art in your yard and see it sparkle in the sun, always "in bloom".
Or, plant it in a large pot on your deck, sun room or patio for a conversational item.
The glass comes ready to mount on 3/8 inch rebar which can be purchase at your local home improvement store. This is a glass only purchase.
A hole has been pre-drilled for insertion of the rod into the connector on the back of the glass flower. (Male/Female assembly)
These are heavy to ship but I will package safely and securely.
If you live in my area, local pickup is always an option. Please contact me for more information.
Note: Some minor wear and imperfections may be present on the glass as these items have been re-purposed and previously adored and used. I try to use the nicest pieces of glass available. I do not use anything that I would not proudly display in my own gardens.
I ship promptly after payment has been received.
Thank you for your interest and please feel free to view my other repurposed glass art or as some might call them "suncatchers".....and have a great day!
~~~~Shipping price quote is for the lower 48 states only. Hawaii and Alaska will be slightly higher. Please convo me for more information on shipping or for any other questions you might have.
