Here is an amazingly Awesome Vintage Gray Purse, in a classic 1960's style, double handled and a nice rectangular shape with a nice brass toned frame. The purse is simulated leather with a Suede front, complete with a little attached decorative tassle. On the back of the bag there is Classic Hot Rod Style pinstriping in contrasing lavender and touches of cream. It has been Custom Pinstriped by Voodude, aka Duke, my wonderful husband. Duke has been a painter/pinstriper for years and has been featured locally in the Northwest and also in California in shows like California Screaming and he has guested at car shows like Pomona. Now is your chance to get a one of a kind functional piece of art work!
The purse is VINTAGE but is in wonderful shape. It has black lining and it was made by "Risque" hangbags. It has a hidden closure which is discretely positioned under the handles. The purse measures 9" wide when closed, and is 9" tall not including the the double 8.5" handles which are looped on top. The hardware of the purse works great and the lining has no rips or tears. The back of the purse of course is kustom pinstriped in a great mid century design with cream starbursts and dots to complete the mid century period look. The purse has been signed. Note it is only striped on the back of the purse.
Condition of the bag is Vintage Excellent, it shows minor wear, a small bit of patina to the hardware which does not show and some minor wear to the lining. Teh handles are not rotted or cracked, and the suede has no flaws! The pinstriping is new and was completed in 2011. Remember, however, this is a USED handbag. Please ask all questions before you purchase because all items are sold as is, and I do not offer refunds or returns! Vintage items may have small imperfections because vintage is NOT NEW.
