If you are buying commercial laundry detergent, then you are wasting your money on harsh dyes and chemicals that are completely unnecessary for clean laundry. These homemade laundry soaps are completely free of those chemicals, and leave your laundry clean and smelling fresh!
Perfect for HE front loaders, children's clothing, and those with sensitive skin! As a mother of three small children, I can personally say that this laundry detergent not only does the job of commercial detergent as far as getting clothes clean, it also gives me peace of mind that I am not washing their items in harsh, unwanted and unneeded additives and chemicals.
This listing is for 3 bags of powdered, natural laundry detergent that will give you 32-64+ loads PER BAG, depending on load size and washing machines. For instance, for a top loading machine, you will want to use 1.5 to 2 tablespoons per load (depending on soiled amount and load size), and for an HE front loader machine, you will want to use 0.5 to 1 tablespoons per load (depending on soiled amount and load size). This means that with an HE front load machine, you will get WELL OVER 64+ loads out of EACH bag!!
Just choose any 3 scents or unscented. You can mix and match, you will just need to list in the scents you prefer in the NOTE TO SELLER when you check out. Here are the scents to choose from:
SHIPS USPS PRIORITY (Medium Flat Rate Box), and like any of our products, ships within 1-2 business days of payment received (though most orders ship within 24 hours)! This provides you with the fastest, most cost effective shipping option as these detergents are rather heavy.
"AMAZING. There is no better word for this laundry detergent. And let me tell you I was hesitant! So if you are like I WAS and think that paying $20 for a bottle of the famous name brand is the only way to get your clothes clean (even tho it doesn't) then I suggest you give this a try.
I have tried to live using natural products for many years now. Since having a child 6 years ago I have constantly learned new lessons about what "natural" is. But through my journey of trying to be free and clear some things always were a must have. Like name brand laundry deterg. Not because I was thrilled with it mind you, but because it did the better job out of the bunch. Recently I thought I was pretty proud of myself having discovered inexpensive washing soda to ADD to my expensive detergent in lieu of the more expensive "oxy products" that do not work. This addition had helped tremendously and I even caught myself wondering a couple of times if that was all I really needed.
So then comes this detgergent. I found them when looking for an all natural calendula cream for my son's dry skin. I sought out the calendula after a popular and natural claiming brand left his skin burning and with itchy dry skin patches after changing their formula. That's when I started to really learn about what is really natural. Now to each their own but as far as I'm concerned and really my son's skin is concerned 100% natural is the only way to go. Anything less then that causes some type of irritation. So I ordered Jen's calendula Heal Salve and fell in love; ordered more and the rest is history! Itchy dry patches GONE. However they didn't go right away but that was not the fault of this product. The next thing to change after his lotion was the body wash. I thought that famous good smelling brand with the little bug was good enough. I always used it myself and it’s in every store but again, 98% natural is NOT ALL natural and therefore caused my son’s skin to get dry and itchy. After replacing that popular brand with a 100% product those dry patches were gone for good!
Sorry I'm long winded I'm getting to the detergent. So while I was ordering my second jar of calendula (in the nice 8 oz size) I decided to try the sample bag of laundry deterg after reading the rave reviews. Especially the reviews that sounded like I felt. So the detergent comes...it's beautifully packaged and smells good. Not strong at all but just nice...like clean nice. I don't need my clothes to smell like a mountain breeze or a babies butt.
I forced myself to accept the directions as they were and only use 2 tbs of the detergent for a load of clothes in a top load washer. WELL the clothes of a dirty little boy and the rest of my family for that matter not only came clean they were the cleanest I ever remember getting laundry. AND they did not smell like a mountain breeze or a babies butt they just smelled clean. (and I do not use fabric softener.) I was amazed and thrilled but still needed to keep using it to believe it. So I did. Each time the clothes came out clean and fresh smelling. I even realized that my towels were filled of deterg from gosh knows when that never fully rinsed out. I realized that because Jen's deterg is very low sudsing (the suds are not necessary) yet my towels were full of suds. Well they are not anymore. Even that load that sometimes gets forgotten about after you run the washer and forget to load the dryer smelled clean and fresh when they were remembered. Now if that didn't convince me nothing would. Even the name brand super exp stuff with the washing soda still smelled like something indescribably rotten if left in the washer overnight.
and lastly even tho my son's dry itchy patches and usual dry skin had finally disappeared after YEARS of trying products intended just that that didn’t work he still had itching in his arm pits. Well not anymore thanks to Jen's deterg! It's simply amazing!"
"I fully did not expect this stuff to actually OUT-PERFORM the super-duper-stain-lifting-expensive-chemical liquid stuff. But every mom has that "laundry woe" story, right? Like when you get an awesome sale on Lands End t-shirts for your kid and he splatters "washable" paint on it two hours later?
Yeah... "washable", not so much. That stuff was COLORFAST. I could not get it out for anything. Treated it with Resolve and with Oxyclean. And I gave up and just let him wear the painted shirt for the last couple of months. And after at least 10 washings that did nothing... a tablespoon of the orange powder GOT IT OUT.
I was stunned.
I am absolutely sold. I wish I had taken a picture of the painted shirt beforehand so you could see how well this stuff worked."

***Special Note about Suds*** If you are new to homemade detergent, you may be surprised at first at the lack of suds. Please note that this is a common occurrence with any homemade laundry detergent, and that suds are entirely unnecessary. In fact, especially in HE washers, low suds are better for the machine.
