Silk Cocoon Earrings

These unusual earrings are made from dyed real silk cocoons. I layered two cocoons together, yellow on green, and stuffed the opening with light green silk rods. I used matching silk thread to sew it all together, and added little seed beads for sparkle. Each is finished with a Czech glass faceted bead and an ear wire.
