May 2, 2013: Thanks to my wonderful customers I have reached my 25 vase quota for the personalized wedding vases for the month of May. If you missed getting a vase this month I will relist them on June 1st. PLEASE NOTE: Instead of removing the listings I decided to leave them up so that your questions regarding size, price and lead time can be answered. I put the temporary price of $1234.56 on them so no one is tempted to buy one :-) The reason I do this is that someone clicking over to a deactivated listing will get a message from Etsy that the item is no longer available and I didn't want anyone to think that they are no longer being made - they will be back up at the beginning of the month. This vase is an offshoot of my block letter wedding vase. Who says you have to be married to have a vase with your names on it? This vase is similar to the wedding vase except it doesn't include the wedding date. The color is a lovely lightly speckled ivory color. Each 8" vase is personalized with the couple's first names. First, the vase is hand thrown on the wheel and the names are etched into the clay. Later, when the clay is at the perfect consistency, the names are painstakingly hand carved out of the clay. I like how the names really pop because the other side of the vase is not carved and provides a backdrop for the lettering. This can also have your children's names on it. This price is for two names, each additional name is $12 (3 names or 4 if the names are shorter).

The lead time on this vase is 4-6 weeks so please order with that in mind. Please indicate at checkout the names you would like on the vase. Also, you have the option of having a special date (e.g. anniversary, wedding) inscribed on the bottom of the vase, or if you'd like a short message from you, e.g. "Congratulations! Love XXX & XXX". please include that in the "Message to Seller" during checkout. Thanks!
