Malachite is the 13th anniversary gemstone.
This necklace has large 20 stunning Malachite 16 mm beads. It is strung on satin gold beading wire.
Spaced between them are 4mm 24K gold plated round beads. Finished also with 3 24K gold plated round beads on each side and a large oval gold-plated rhinestone magnetic clasp.
Very strong clasp and can definitely hold some weight. I also used a gold protector and 2 crimps on each side to hold the necklace firmly.
The necklace measures approx 18 in.
You can wear this necklace in many ways. Either leave the oval clasp in front or on the side or place it at the back.
Malachite has banded color variation occurs within each bead, ranging from light to dark. no two beads are exactly alike.

The history about Malachite
Malachite is a copper hydroxyl silicate. It is actually the green rust that forms on copper. It is closely associated with the mineral azurite. Large deposits have been found in the Ural Mountains of Russia and also in Zaire. It is a decorative stone that has been used for table tops, jewelry, columns and wall coverings.
