The property we live on has been farmed for nearly 200 years. In the yearly turnings of the soil all sorts of treasures come to light. I view them as little messengers from the past, telling me about the people who loved this place before. I wanted to share to joy I find in these little things, so an antique hand-foraged nail has become an angel. The wings are goose feathers, from a free-range flock and they are bound to the nail with salvaged copper wire. Vintage glass beads are also strung on wire to make a halo. There is a small wire loop in the back to allow it to hang, if you wish.
The feathers are 3 1/2” by 1 1/2”. The nail is 4” long. This is not a toy or suitable for a child.
We have tried to do a “worst case” on the shipping prices, due to the variances in Canada Posts costs by location. We will refund any overcharges.
