What an endearing little ABC primer book! I've never come across one like it before. This treasure was published by McLoughlin Brothers of New York circa 1880's. The book is printed on linen--both the cover and back have beautiful jeweled tones while the interior images and letters are block printed in an exquisite red and black ink. There are a few brown spots on the pages and the edges are tattered but these details only add to its charm. A lovely piece for any collector or an endearing gift for parents-to-be!
