The hem is asymmetrical, and dips off to the lefthand side, where it runs into three large pleats.
It fastens at one side with a brass buckle holding fast a leather strap, and with an eclectic group of four buttons holding the overlap together.
On the waistband, there is an empty brass wristwatch case, which makes a nice detail.
The waistband is about 35", or 90cm, but if that's too big, it can be easily altered down to 30", or about 80cm.
This garment sits like a traditional kilt, and as such could be worn by someone of either gender.
Also pictured is a brown Corshirt, which you can find here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/77714214/brown-and-beige-corshirt
