Your unique paper cut hearts will feature two locations of your choice – city, country, province, state, etc. They will be mounted on a wooden display block and sealed with paint brush strokes for texture & protection. My map paper cuts are done by freehand (unlike my solid paper designs - see http://papercuthearts.wordpress.com for more info), & feature an interpretation of a heart's anatomy carefully extracted from an original map with an x-acto knife.
Please provide the geographical areas you'd like to have featured on your custom map cutout during the check out process in "notes to seller" or look for the "contact" link on the right.
Each heart cut out featured in my shop http://www.papercutworks.etsy.com is very unique - map heart designs specifically are determined by the content of the sheet I'm working with & can not be recreated.
Wooden blocks make distinctive decor pieces - you can display them sitting on a shelf or hanging on the wall. This cradled birch block frame measures 5" by 5" and is 1" thick. I mount my map cutout art to white card stock and then a wooden panel frame. To finish the look and make it appear canvas-like, I use a paint brush to apply a protective sealant.
