Is there anything more beautiful than fiddleheads?! I'm not sure that there is.
Watching these little beauties emerge in shady spots throughout our neighborhood is what inspired me to make this block.

The print is made with an original lino cut block (8 x 10 inches) that was drawn, carved and printed by me. The ink is fabric-safe, water-based and non-toxic. All the colors are hand-mixed by me and can never be replicated perfectly, this particular print is done in a deep, dark shade of green.
Each towel has three prints, side-by-side, and each is hand-registered. Because of the nature of hand printing, some variation from print-to-print is to be expected (and embraced!!!).

The fiddleheads are printed on a towel that is sewn by me from 100% cotton, Osnaburg fabric. Its' unbleached, flecked appearance gives it a relaxed, natural appearance.
The towel is generously sized (30 x 30 inches), perfect for a wide variety of tasks.

This item can be machine washed and dried, however the colors will last longest if washed on cold and line-dried.
