The hot air balloon is a timeless classic that represents human’s fascination with flight. The first hot air balloon flight lasted for fifteen minutes and carried a goat, a duck and a rooster on Sep. 19th 1783. Since then the art of piloting balloons has been turned over to humans, and the range of balloons is sky high!
This clock is made from two upcycled vinyl records mounted one on top of the other for extra support. The basket hanging off the balloon is another piece of vinyl record cut to shape. The clock has been properly primed, painted, and embellished with sparkly thread. The numbers are mounted on the top of the record and are a copper color that reads easily even from across the room.
The Balloon of this clock measures approximately 12 inches round. All clocks are equipped with a new mechanism that runs on one AA battery included.
