This is an original pattern created by myself to make the spats pictured here. They were modeled on US Army spats from WWII. They are historically appropriate for WWI and WWII military costumes as well as use in dieselpunk and steampunk.
This pattern makes spats in one of three sizes: Small for calf circumference of 12"-14", Medium for 14"-16", Large for for 16"-18." These measurements are approximate as there is opportunity to fine tune the fit a lot as they are assembled.
The purchaser will be receive their pattern by email within 24 hours of purchase. They will receive two PDF documents: a full-size printable pattern and step-by-step instructions with full-color photos.
