Lilura is made of muslin that has been coffee stained, sanded, painted, sanded again and rubbed with cinnamon to give her the look and feel of an old and worn primitive doll. Her skirt is made of lightly stained olive green calico fabric with a contrasting tan calico waistband. She also wears a witch hat that I stitched from muslin fabric, painted black, sanded, and dusted with cinnamon. The top of her hat is hand sewn onto the brim. Display Lilura sitting, or hang her up on your wall using the little loop of string I've added behind her shoulders.
Lilura's nose and cheeks are hand pinch-stitched, and her eyes and mouth are also hand sewn. Her eyes are hand painted over the stitching. Lilura measures 17" tall from hat tip to toes, and will arrive to you signed and dated.
