Cheerful songs, trills and whistles can be heard each day from the woods around my rural home. This painting is my vision of those birds who dwell among those trees and stay busy with their nesting activities, feeding rituals, and musical routines, and it's the first piece in my Summer Birds 2011 Series. It's painted on Kilimanjaro 140 lb cold press, acid free watercolor paper, and it's been adorned with spirals and lines using watercolor pencils. Signed on the front with full signature, title and date on the back.
The 2nd and 4th photos show the painting in its entirety; the last photo shows how the painting would look matted and framed.
It will come shipped in an archival acetate sleeve, sandwiched between recycled cardboard, and slipped inside a sturdy mailer for safe delivery to you. Shipping within the continental U.S. includes insurance.
