The plate is 6 in. across, the wire on the back was added for hanging. These plates were ordered directly from the company in Denmark. I did not save the original boxes, unfortunately.
The company Bing and Grondahl was founded in the 1800s and stayed in business until 1987, when they merged with Royal Porcelain Factory under the name of Royal Copenhagen.
