Why make a cheeseburger out of glass? Why not :) This has got to be one of my all time favorite little pieces...and when I say little I mean little, as this adorable morsel measures in at just three inches tall. A lovely little accent for a kitchen window perhaps, or a unique gift for that person who has everything. In an attempt to make this cheeseburger as realistic as I could, I included a terracotta colored burger, topped with cheese made from yellow opal glass. On top of that sits some bright green wispy lettuce, red opal tomatoes, and a single white opal onion ring. The bun is made from a light brown opal with an adorable wire "pucker" detail, and the entire piece hangs from a wire loop soldered securely to the top - fishing line not included. I've left the solder seams their natural silver color and polished them to a sparkling shine with carnauba wax.
