Melissa Barnes Godfrey is an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. Anyone who knows her knows that her gentle spirit, warm soul and bright personality are infectious. She is kind and giving beyond words. Her children, Ryan, 9, and Madilyn, 7, are the centers of her universe. On April 13th, she married the love of her life, Dave Godfrey. Less than 2 weeks later, feeling a little worn down from what she assumed was the excitement and fun surrounding the wedding and all the festivities she was told that she wasn't just a little worn down but that she has Acute Leukemia. A week after that, she began 7 straight days of 24 hour a day chemotherapy to wage war on this horrible disease. Upon receiving news that would stop most people in their tracks, Melissa has forged on with an unbelievable amount of strength, grace, and will to win. She's got this... and the least we can do is help her fight this fight!
I love you, Bunny!
Bunny went back to retrieve her heart and brought back this fun plate to remind her of her journey. You never know what wonderful, beautiful things await you around the next bend on the crookedest street! This San Francisco stand will be a treat any way you use it! The cutouts on the middle plate are perfect for hanging earrings off of, while the tiers hold and display bracelets, rings and necklaces. And of course it will look fantastic with cupcakes and other goodies, too! Or use it both ways!
Carefully constructed using three plates and a gold colored metal handle.
The top plate is a creamy white with bands of gold.
The middle plate is a vintage souvenir plate of San Francisco featuring famous landmarks, with star-like cutouts and painterly gold accents.
The bottom plate is white with a very dark band of blue. Please see note below
NOTE: There is a chip on the underside edge of the bottom plate. See last picture, please. All of my plates are carefully selected and chosen based on their uniqueness. With this comes flaws, but it is my opinion that they only add to the character of the piece.
Height about 14 inches.
Base about 10.5 inches.
Ships disassembled with easy to follow instructions.
This stand is sturdy and has good weight. All my stands are one of a kind!
