Dapper Owl with Monocle and Mustache Brooch Pin

This brooch / pin features my original artwork. The drawing of this dapper Barred Owl was done in colored pencils and ink on paper, then applied to a wooden disk and protected with a layer of shiny, durable, waterproof epoxy resin. The owl is done in browns and black, the background in pale sky blue or aqua. Pin this brooch on your jacket or sweater, hat or scarf, or even your bag for a bit of lighthearted autumn flair!

The surrounding fabrics are made of an upcycled blouse (the aqua/brown plaid) and some Halloween costume scraps (the embossed brown leatherette.) The backside of the brooch features a 1.25 inch bar pin for fastening.

The owl disk measures 1.5 inches/ 3.81cm. in diameter. Overall the brooch measures 2.75 inches/ 7 cm. in diameter.
