This honeycomb-colored cozy is the perfect hideout for your teapot. This cozy measures 10 1/4" wide and 7" high when laid flat. Circumference is about 21", making it just the right side for many two-four cup teapots.
Each of my handknit, hand-felted teapot cozies are seamless. Initially they're knit all in one piece in a ridiculously large size. Then I put them in the hottest water possible and agitate them until they shrink down to normal size. The end result is a highly insulating cozy that looks almost molded and shaped to fit your teapot.
Once its air dried and shaped, I take it up to my studio and the design work begins.
The bright yellow beauty was decorated with heathered purple felted spheres, then embellished and encircled with bright orange stitching and white french knots.
In addition to the heat-trapping felted nature of all my teapot cozies, each one is lined with all cotton fabric to ensure that your favorite beverage stays piping hot for a long, long time. Something a true tea-lover will appreciate.
Spot clean only.

I truly believe my teapot cozies are the hightest quality, made with love and full attention to detail. Please consider that this is the only cozy you'll need for a lifetime. It's also a family treasure that you'll hand down to the next generation if treated with respect and care.
Cheaply constructed quilted fabric cozies don’t even come close to the quality, design, efficiency of knitandcurl's standards. Every tea cosy you see in my shop is hand-knitted and hand-stitched by me in my home studio.

HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT CUPPA
• Use only quality tea, loose leaves are preferred.
• Bring freshly drawn, filtered water to the boil.
• Warm the teapot and cups with hot water before use.
• Using one rounded teaspoon of tea per person, place in the pot and pour on the freshly boiled water.
• Allow the tea to brew for one-three minutes for green tea, three-five minutes for black.
• I'm more of a purist, but some like to ddd milk and sugar to taste, or lemon for a more refreshing brew.
• Use a tea cosy to keep the pot warm between cups
