When I first started making Art Dolls back in '05 these were one of the creations I came up with. I had quit making them for some unknown reason and just decided recently to bring them back :)
This doll measures in her hanging position a total of 15 inches long. Her hair is natural bamboo yarn and her face was made from a mold with polymer clay, then altered to open her eyes in which I added glass seed beads and painted with acrylics. I then added liquid sculpey and baked again to seal. Her arms are non-tarnish wire. Dress is deep purple knit fabric and she was embellished with glass beads and gold plated leaves and chains. Her legs were strung with 15 lb. test fishing line ending with brass bells.
