My slight obsession with leaf beads that started in 2009 is still going strong in 2013. I made this bracelet in a right angle weave technique with Czech glass leaf beads, lamp work rounds, and seed beads. The leaf beads are a wonderful modern color palette with brown, maroon, gold, clear, and black in different sizes and finishes. The clasp is a brown plastic button and a beaded loop.
I have double woven each layer of the bracelet and dotted each final knot with glue to give it extra strength, as the leaves make it heavier than the majority of my bracelets. The bracelet is well worth the weight!
The bracelet is 6 3/4" (17.15 cm) long when clasped and just over 7 1/4" (18.42 cm) long from end to end, including the clasp.
