Trying to find real Canary feathers was a surprisingly hard feat. I could find lots of canary yellow, but the actual bird feathers was not so easy. Don't canaries molt like other birds? According to a google search all birds molt... But I think it was worth the effort as the feathers are stunning.

I have use opaque, clear & bright golden crystals to accent the feathers and I knitted them all together with golden permanently colored copper wire.

I knit the necklace 17 inches long and I have added a vermillion lobster clasp. As is, this necklace is not an adjustable, but if you would like it to be longer, I would be happy to add an extension chain for you.

All my creations come packed up so pretty for gifting or as a gift for yourself. A shiny black box tied up pretty with a sheer pink & a pink polka dot ribbons. I'll happily add a complimentary gift tag if you let me know in note to seller that you would like one.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you will look around at my other creations & come again soon as I try to list something new daily.

Blessings to you!
Valerie
