We visited friends who have a camp out on Georges Pond in Franklin, and spent a lovely afternoon splashing and swimming and kayaking. Freshwater beachcombing has a much more limited palette than saltwater. The colors are more subdued and earthy - no scarlet crab shells here. The freshwater mussel shells have a subtle iridescence, though, that is very hard to capture in a photo. You'll just have to come on up and see for yourself.
