Inspired by the animals in the second movement of The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns (Poules et coqs), the chicken and rooster rod puppets are constructed from corrugated cardboard and pieces of magazines. They are original designs intended to serve as decorations or be gently used in a puppet show, and make great shadow puppets as well.
