1960s Vintage Pink Southern Belle Débutante Dress

This dress is early 1960's does early 1940's and it is fabulous. The under layer is pink acetate and the over layer is off white tulle, edged in beautiful lace trim. The bodice reminds me of a shawl draped about the shoulders. The back features a keyhole button closure at the neckline and an invisible zipper up the back. The original zipper, a nylon coil, was broken and had to be replaced. I can just image the Southern Belle who wore this to her Débutante Ball. She must have looked breathtaking and so will you.

Condition: Good. This dress is strong, sturdy, and has been cleaned so it is ready for wear. There are some minor tears to the netting (I have photographed the worst)and some discoloration to the acetate , and at the armhole(see photos) which don't really show through the dress due to the shawl collar.
