This is another really, really BIG lampwork conch shell that is laden with the silver glass called Clio. There are silvery pinks, blues, purples, greens, golds, the colors shift with the light. The ribbons are created by "cutting" the glass while it is molten on a grooved marver.
Sea shell is 46 mm, not quite two inches. It would make for a beautiful pendant or necklace or lovely just sitting in a bowl of beads or seashells.
My lampwork beads are made on a 3/32 mandrel. Beads were lovingly created by my hands in my home studio. Properly annealed and cleaned.
Glass beads are not intended for small children.
