Star Seeker
Solar quartz, Sterling Silver, Bone, Quartz, Kunzite, White Coral, Karen Hill Tribe Fine Silver, Operculum Shell, Australian Opal
-----------------------------------
Star Seeker is a Goddess necklace that has a lot of magic, movement and joy. I love the play of white stones, shells and bone along with the sterling silver. I always find the Goddess pieces to be a blast to make -- that kind of creating that keeps you "in the zone".
There are so many luscious elements to this talismanic piece. A really neat solar quartz crystal resides within the hammered sterling silver teardrop shape at the top of the pendant. In the chain, you will find some dangling quartz crystals, repurposed white vintage coral, and fine silver drops hand made by the Karen Hill Tribe artisans in Thailand. The lovely fine silver leaf hanging beside the Goddess is also made by them. If you've never heard of them, I definitely encourage looking them up - their work is amazing!
Also hanging along with the bone spiral carved Goddess, you will find a round of kunzite, Australian opals with touches of red and blue fire, quartz, white coral, and a double sided operculum shell. Star Seeker can be worn from 18 to 21 inches and you could make it shorter by hooking the clasp lower on the chain Lots of goodies in this piece and I look forward to seeing who she picks for her new home. Thanks so much for looking!
