Cows are some of my favorite animals, and after a recent trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway up into Virginia, where we saw several fields of grazing cows, I was inspired to do this new painting of a black and white cow against a pale blue sky. The colors make this modern enough for an upscale home but the subject matter is also perfect for a rustic, rural home. This piece was painted on 9 x 12 Kilimanjaro 140 lb cold press watercolor paper. It's been signed on the front with full signature, title and date on the back. It has been matted in a black acid-free mat, ready for your frame. Photos #2and #3 show how this might look in a frame.
It will be shipped in its mat in an acetate envelope, sandwiched between recycled cardboard and slipped into a sturdy mailing envelope to ensure safe delivery to your home. Shipping within the continental U.S. includes insurance.
Five percent of the sale of this cow painting will be donated to my local Humane Society to help in their efforts to tend to the medical and physical needs of homeless and abandoned animals and to fine homes for them.
