Tapestry handbag or Travel Bag dating to 1920s-1930s has gorgeous puff design. Large ladies purse or case has a Victorian lady, little girl and wagon is puffed out in 3D style. The scene depicts a mother with a little girl and boy picking cherries.
The tapestry handbag or briefcase is rectangular shaped; it has a gold metal frame at the top, a round gold metal button that latches, two black handles, and covered with black smooth faux leather or vinyl material on the back and bottom of the bag. The bottom also has 4 gold metal feet.
The inside is lined with orange satin material, it has a mirror on the lid and a pocket on the inside back. It is in very clean condition.
The large tapestry bag is in amazing condition. There is some tarnish near the hooks/clasps of the handles and frame. The black faux leather or vinyl material on the sides, back, top and bottom is in great condition; has a tiny ding on one of the handles.
The mirror shows age; still very usable but has some age spots.
It measures 14 ¾” tall x 12 ½” x 4 ¾”. The handles are 18” long from clasp to clasp.
