This is a hand cut and stitched leather bound coptic journal or sketchbook. The leather taken from trimmings or scrap, so if you don't mind a journal with built in personality, this is for you! There are 60 unlined pages (120 front and back) of 80 lb. Strathmore 30% post-consumer fiber acid free paper. The paper is perfect for writing, sketching, or any variety of mixed media. Natural colored artificial sinew is use for binding and natural hemp is used for the closure tie.
This journal is a compact size, perfect for pocket, purse or nightstand! Since it is bound with a coptic stitch, each page opens and lays flat. The easy to open and close leather cover will protect whatever you wish to record inside!
PLEASE NOTE: This journal is made from scrap leather or leather trimmings. The leather may be creased, dented, or have a "rough around the edges" feel. The leather may have markings or slight discolorations. While I carefully select where and how I cut the covers from the trimmings, I sometimes cannot avoid the inevitable imperfections in the leather's surface and stretching. Because of these conditions, I am offering these journals at a discount from my other, higher quality leather bound journals.
