The Greyhound profile was crafted from soft grey felt fabric, which has been hand embroidered. A sleeping moon sits above the hound, alongside the whisper of "shh..."
Both sit upon a black star print fabric, which is secured into a wooden embroidery hoop.
This wall art was inspired by my Irish ex-racing Greyhound Casey, now enjoying his retirement.
The embroidery hoop is 5 1/4 " (13cm) diameter, and can be hung on the wall, or placed on a shelf or a mantelpiece. Or perhaps a unique wall hanging for any bedroom, as a reminder to sleep!
