I unearthed this dainty sweater knit sometime ago, and only recently found the time to use it in a design I really adore. Its sweetness is accentuated with a row of pearly buttons that I saved from certain demise. Fortunately, an afternoon of arduous washing, cleaning, and heavy tea consumption was enough to restore most of them to their shell-like splendor. The mismatched nature of the buttons paired with the plunging neckline in the front and back keep the shirt modern and makes the grandma style fabric look anything but frumpy. Delicately capped sleeves are trimmed to match and bring the design together. It looks effortless with almost anything you pair it with. Plus it is one of those rare shirts that feels luxuriously comfortable, but also won’t horrify your lover/friend/roommate/sibling/spouse/local hobo.
