This block is the first in a series for a Doodle Embroidery Block Quilt on my blog (http://itchinstitchin.blogspot.com). The pattern features a hand drawn spring themed design printed on 100% cotton quilt weight fabric.
A dove, a rainbow, rain drops, sunshine, a caterpillar, an ant, a butterfly, and an umbrella are just some of the whimsical features of this pattern.
The design measures: 7 1/2 inches wide by 6 1/4 inches tall (19.1 cm by 15.9 cm)
Fabric square measures: 8 1/2 inches wide by 9 inches tall (21.6 cm by 22.9 cm)
There is a nice amount of extra white fabric around the edges if you would like to frame the piece or sew it onto other fabric.
This listing is for pattern printed fabric. Choose your own lovely colors, favorite embroidery floss, and favorite stitches. The finished stitched design is for reference only - this kit DOES NOT include thread, stitching instructions, or finished.
