I made this Cactus Wren from earthenware clay that I hand formed and incised to get all the little feather details. Then I glazed with non-toxic glazes to create a very realistic look. This guy is 4.25 inches from beak to tail tip, 1.75 inches at his widest and 3 inches tall. He feels absolutely wonderful sitting in the palm of your hand!
He is one of a kind since no molds were used and even though I will make more, every one will be unique.
