All of my hats are hand knit on circular needles, so there is no seam to irritate a baby's tender head. These hats can be machine washed, but come out better when hand washed and dried.
Size suggestions: unstretched, hats are rather stretchy
Newborn 14-15 inches circumference
Small=3-6 months 16-17 inches circumference
Medium=6-18 months 18-19 inches circumference
