Printed in Germany in 1895. Much care was taken in printing this; thus, the colours are incredibly brilliant and the images razor sharp. Contrary to what others may suggest, chromolithographs are not hand-coloured or hand-painted. Nevertheless, the process was still painstaking and time-consuming, using a different set of plates for each colour. Amazing as these photos may look, the chromo is much more impressive in the original. Printing is of ueber quality!
Water stain outside of the image, as per photo; otherwise in very good condition; blank on the reverse. Sufficient white margin all around for framing.
