So begins this 1930’s racing classic. This book is written in a fun readable style that has a real feel for the 30’s car racing circuit. For an extra treat the forward was written by cowboy actor Buck Jones. Whose movies were extremely popular during the 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s.
Condition: The green cloth-covered hardcover definitely shows some wear. There are some stains and a slight tear at the top of the front cover. The spine is faded from shelf life but the title and graphic on the front are bright. The pages show the yellowing of the book’s age but are stitched in securely. Though the covers are slightly pulling away from the binding they are still attached. There is the name of the former owner penned onto the inside of the front cover.
As with all vintage books, please remember that this book has been well read and loved so some visible wear is to be expected
