Two vintage aluminum canisters by Krischer, popular in the 50s and 60s, originally came in a set of 4 or 5. These two are a portion of the set. They are adorable and though they are meant for food storage, I would hesitate to store anything edible in these, seeing they are aluminum, and I am unsure where they were before I found them. The insides are free of rust or decay so they are still perfect for any other kind of storage from craft supplies to office supplies. Maybe toss your Sunday newspaper coupons in these or use them simply for display. They do show signs of use with some portions of missing paint here and there and the bottom are well worn, but for me, this makes them that much desireable. Maybe you have the other two or three and need these two to complete the set. Either way, they are a great throw-back from the past and in good shape considering. The smaller one is much shinier than the larger, but they are both still great.
