I started making Ollie a few years back after experimenting with doodles for an attempt at a barn owl. I love their heart shaped faces and was finding it extremely difficult to make a felt plush in white or off white. So instead of trying to recreate something on felt as I usually do I found a scrap of canvas from a coffee bag and transferred the sketch onto the canvas and embroidered it. The result is this chain of adorable little owls (with a few changes to the original) made from mostly recycled materials.
It measures roughly 5" by 3.5" and is stuffed with a hypoallergenic poly fiberfill. Each one is unique in its owl way. They make great toys for babies or can be used as a unique shelf display.
The owl in the photo may not be the exact one you receive upon purchase. They are available in SEVERAL different colors.
