Approximately 13" diameter. All my plates are dishwasher and food safe and contain no lead. Because I am just that way, though, I prefer to wash these by hand.
Each plate is hand-thrown, undergoes a drying time, then is fired. Next, I sketch in the design, then hand paint the different glaze colors, three coats each color, with drying time in between. When it's dry, I fire it a second time, and ta-da! A Hallowe'en treasure you will enjoy for years to come is born!
